The Globe Inn is a 13th century, warm and friendly freehouse, popular with locals and visitors alike due to its reputation for excellent food, variety of real ales and the quality of its Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Delicious, freshly prepared blackboard specials complement the extensive menu and are served in the restaurant, bar area and secluded patio garden, each of which has its own special atmosphere. Lostwithiel, an ancient stannery town and former Cornish capital on the banks of the River Fowey, has retained its historic charm and is renowned for its river walks, antiques and good places to eat and drink. The Globe Inn is in the heart of Lostwithiel, just a stone’s throw from the ancient river bridge and the 13th century parish church and a 2 minute level walk from good free parking facilities. All of these are within a few miles of the Globe Inn.

Open: Everyday 12-2.30; Sunday to Thursday 6-11pm and Friday to Saturday 6pm-midnight.

Meals: Lunch is served every day of the week between 12 and 2.00pm. Evening meals are served between 6.30 and 9pm. Our full menu is available seven days a week, for both lunch and dinner. In addition, we have a sandwich and snack menu available Monday to Saturday (lunchtime only), and on Sunday we serve a full roast dinner with a choice of lamb, beef or chicken and all the trimmings for £8.50.
